Meet The Team

Danielle was born and raised in Chicago, USA, and is an American implant in Senegal and Mauritania for more than 15 years. Her forté is in cultural relations and business, with a focus in Francophone Africa. Her first experience was working in Microfinance in 2009 in Senegal, and over the years in various international industries including shipping, talent mobility, and NGO project management. She was also the Founder & President of the US Africa Chamber of Commerce in Washington, DC. Danielle is fluent in French, English, and Wolof.

Cheikhani was born and raised in Mauritania, but also studied in both the United States and the UK, where he studied International Communication at Oxford University. He has more than 10 years experience working with foreigners, including the US Special Forces in Mauritania, as a business mediator. He also has consulted mining, agricultural, and O&G clients, and also is a proud Professor of Communication for Business English at the Lebanese University in Nouakchott. Cheikhani speaks English, Arabic, and Hassaniya fluently.

Mariama began her career in at UEMOA at the headquarters in Ouagadougou, working in the New Markets department. She also worked at the Société Générale in Senegal (SGBS), in the Risk Department. She also worked as an accountant at SenServices, a local company. Mariama makes sure Niofar is running smoothly by coordinating our various local patners in the formal and informal sectors.

Mariem has a gift for organisation and communication, which comes to good use in helping the Niofar office in Nouakchott to run smoothly. She interfaces with both clients and local partners, in English, French, and Hassanyia, thanks to her recent Bachelor's Degree in Communication & Linguistics at the Lebanese University in Nouakchott.

Thanks to her Master's Degree in Business & Finance exclusively in English institutions in Senegal, Moé interfaces directly with English and French speaking clients and manages the financial operations of Niofar. She has a passion for intercultural communication, and representing her country in a positive light.

Ndim is much more than a professional chauffeur with more than 20 years of experience all over West Africa. Having worked with the largest car rental companies in Senegal, as well as the driver for several BP missions, and other multinational companies, he also is certified in defensive driving by Schlumberger. Given his extensive experience, he conducts driver professionalism and defensive driving training, and manages travel, transportation, and logistics for Niofar.
